I think the case offers good protection overall

Decent case. Ordered a few of these since I bought 3 of the same phone for family members and myself. Kind of a pain to put the back cover on and the "shock absorption" part kind of had me skeptical because the the rubbery part is actually thinner than I thought it would be. I ended up dropping my phone a few feet off the table and feared that my screen had cracked. Luckily, it wasn't cracked. Satisfied with it so far. No complaints else where for me or my family members. 4/5 stars.

Many reviewers are talking about having trouble with the device responding to taps so that you can change modes

I've only had this band for a couple days now so I can't comment on the battery life or durability yet, however, I can say that it is much lighter/comfortable than the Up24. Also, it comes with a sleeker look and wireless charging which is a very welcomed change for me. You can easily tap and hold to change modes and the icons/lights have been upgraded. Accuracy so far seems to be spot on for both sleep and counting steps, which should be expected. So far, I'd highly recommend trying this out!

their are only 2 differences between the S5 and the S5 Active

Upgraded from an S3 to an S5 Active. The guy at the ATT store (can you believe this) was not able to tell me the difference between a regular S5 and an S5 Active. I got the Active, at least already knowing it was more water and shock resistant than the regular S5 (from reading reviews beforehand).

What I did not know is that there is an extra button called the Active button. I've no interest in all the Active bloatware Samsung offers and was glad to find out the button is totally programmable (it now launches the LED light with a short press and the camera with a long press).

To get the most out of this DSLR, you'll want to shoot raw

This camera has top-tier image quality in a polished, compact package well-suited to travel. Those upgrading from a 5D II or 7D may prefer the sharp response and focusing performance of the 5D III. Buyers without an investment in the Canon system may find Nikon's D600 a better value.

I've finally had enough of a hands-on with this camera to draw some conclusions about it. My main body is a 5D II and I've owned or used almost all of Canon's crop bodies.

so you're likely to find alternative apps to satisfy your needs in this tablet

The display is a 7" 1200x800 resolution display with a 216 ppi pixel density which is not great, but not horrible either. It is the lowest pixel density of all the Fire Tablets with the Fire HD 6 coming in at 252 ppi, the Fire HDX coming in at 323 ppi, and the Fire HDX 8.9 coming in at 339 ppi. The human eye really can't distinguish individual pixels beyond a density of about 300 ppi so you're not going to be getting a noticeably pixelated display by any means. All in all, this is a nice display.

LG now faces the difficult task of succeeding the G2

While the enthusiast segment is no stranger to LG smartphones, for the most part LG hasn’t received nearly the amount of attention that Samsung has. At first, it doesn’t make much sense. After all, LG is almost as big as Samsung. Both are chaebols, with enormous resources and power that few other companies have. Starting from the Optimus G, it seems that LG has shipped some of the best hardware in the industry, leveraging all the branches of the company from LG Innotek to LG Display to make a product that was easily equal to or better than the competition at the time.

For the past few years, we’ve seen Google place significant emphasis on price as a way of competing with other tablets on the market. The original Nexus 7 managed to deliver a good tablet experience without the conventional 500 USD price for a tablet. The successor to the Nexus 7 was even more incredible, as it pushed hardware that was equal to or better than most tablets on the market at a lower price. However, as with most of these low cost Nexus devices not everything was perfect as corners still had to be cut in order to hit these low price points.

creating some very nice shots of the Mac’s little logic board in the process. However not stopping there the crew also detached the SSD controller from the board, giving us our best look yet at what we strongly believe to be an Apple-built semi-custom or fully-custom SSD controller.

The way their technology works is unique

One of the most interesting things I saw at this year’s Computex was glasses-free 3D technology. You likely have not heard of the company before because they are currently not spending any money on B2C marketing or PR as they are focusing on selling/licensing the technology to OEMs to bring it to the mainstream market.
