Many reviewers are talking about having trouble with the device responding to taps so that you can change modes

I've only had this band for a couple days now so I can't comment on the battery life or durability yet, however, I can say that it is much lighter/comfortable than the Up24. Also, it comes with a sleeker look and wireless charging which is a very welcomed change for me. You can easily tap and hold to change modes and the icons/lights have been upgraded. Accuracy so far seems to be spot on for both sleep and counting steps, which should be expected. So far, I'd highly recommend trying this out!

EDIT: Many reviewers are talking about having trouble with the device responding to taps so that you can change modes. My experience is that tapping BELOW the lights greatly improves accuracy. So sometimes it will still take more than 2 taps but 3-4 quick taps always does the trick if necessary. As for the clasp.... IT IS FINE! I have large wrists, and anyone with the ability to use their hands should be able to use the clasp easily. It is actually a nice clasp despite what others say. Lastly, the syncing issues that everyone's been reporting... I did have an incident one night where the band did not track my sleep even though I set it to sleep mode. Also, I have noticed that every time I open up the app on my phone it goes through several "uploads" which usually lasts 10-20 seconds. I don't know if that is normal behavior or not but it's actually kind of annoying as you can not see your current data until it finishes.

What I've encountered:
-Tracks my daily total steps (this is some sort of black magic technology, but seems to get it accurate)
-Tracks my sleep patterns (sound vs light sleep)
-Offers a smart alarm, which wakes you from a light sleep, so not to wake up groggy
-Offers daily alarm reminders. (all set through the easy-to-use app)
-Offers daily goals to reach/maintain (via app)
-Also offers food input/goals, but this is all manually recorded in the app, not worth my time as of yet

Read numerous reviews regarding the sleep/wake mode swapping on/off on it's own; I've yet to encounter this problem. And the sleep tracking has worked flawlessly for me for the 5 nights I've started using it.

As an app-centric, unobtrusive fitness band (the first I've owned), it's lived up to it's job so far. The app has various notification questions throughout the day, which seems to be a way for it to learn your daily habits/routines, which I imagine helps it mold into the perfect life tracker for the individual. Interact with it, it'll interact (better) with and for you.
It even notified me of not getting out of bed for 13 minutes AFTER the smart alarm went off.
It knows my every move...and I'm ok w/ that. Gotta go, it just vibrated to notify me I've been sitting for 30 minutes.
