Zircon brick is a refractory product made of natural zircon. It has the advantages of strong slag resistance, high mechanical strength, high refractoriness under load, large abrasive resistance and excellent thermal shock stability; it is an important material for furnace construction in the glass industry.

Applications:
Zircon brick can especially be used as superstructure bricks of flame space and bottom bricks of glass furnace in glass industry. It also can be used in glass contact portion of alkali free or low-alkali glass melting furnace , especially some special region of glass tank, such as paving part and secondary layer of paving bottom, and also used in lining of other quality glass furnace and special glass furnace with high corrosion resistance.

There are several types of zircon brick according to the content of zircon which is an important chemical composition, such as ZS-64, ZS-65, HDZ-65, and HDZ-68. Different types of zircon brick get different physical property, obviously, the higher the content of ZrO2, the better the stability, the higher the ability of bearing high temperature and the higher the resistance to glass liquid.
