A few weeks back EA Sports released some information

You could suggest that EA Sports aren't revealing too much before the game releases, and I hope that's true, although we can only go with what we're given. So I decided to take this time to explore what will be on offer in Career Mode for FIFA 15.

Player Growth

According to EA Sports, in FIFA 15 highly rated older players won’t retire as quickly and high potential players grow faster, as well as the growth rate becoming generally more realistic.

This means we are no longer faced with the early sell-by date on some of our favourite players over 30. Some of you will remember how frustrating it was seeing Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Andrea Pirlo's overall plummet after just one season, whereas in reality they both have a few good years left in them.

On the opposite end, the up and coming youth players, found by scouts we pay millions for, will be ready for the first team at a much faster rate, and again this is good news as it took a good few seasons for some young stars to even get past the 75 rating.

Global Transfer Network

Last year I found the GTN to be one of the most frustrating features in Career Mode, and it turned transfers, the most fun aspect of the game mode, into probably the least enjoyable.

I would have preferred that this feature would be revamped, or even reverted back to the old system of transfer dealings, but it appears EA Sports want to stick to their guns, unfortunately for myself.

The only change to the GTN is that scouts will now recommend players based on the needs and weaknesses of the squad...

And so it remains almost identical to FIFA 14, unless, and I do hope, the full game shows some dramatic improvements.
