Vertical Centrifuge is a very common Centrifuge which is a Vertical Model. Vertical Centrifuges are available in Top Discharge & Bottom Discharge. Vertical Centrifuge is widely used in al industries for seperation of Solid from Liquid.
Baroid designs our VCD/Centrifuge packages to provide safe and efficient solutions to customer challenges and to bring added value to drilling operations:
1. Reduction of oil on cuttings to meet environmental regulations, including EPA Gulf of Mexico discharge requirements.
2. High capacity unit is capable of supporting operations with a high rate of penetration (ROP)–average 40-60TPH.
3. Proven reliable technology, well average can achieve below 5% OOC.
4. Versatile layout and relatively small footprint allowinfor easy configuration into fixed installations, winterized modules, or can be mounted on a trailer for easy mobility.
5. Skid mounted unit is suitable for land and offshore applications.
6. Recovery of fluid alone may justify installation as 85% of recovered mud is returned back to the active system after treatment with a Hi-“G” centrifuge.
7. Reduces volumes of waste to haul off for transportation and disposal by 40%.
The ES-KSN oilfield drilling vertical centrifuge returns and recycles large percentages of SBM (Synthetic Base Mud) and OBM (Oil Base Mud) to an active system which in the past was lost as waste products to the environment. ES-KSN oilfield vertical cutting dryer can reduce total discharged OOC below 5%, which is currently the discharge limit in many areas of the world, in many areas of the world, our goal is 5% total OBM discharge to the environment, and our goal is not only to reach 5%, but also reduce the percentage further.
