When we running desander cyclone there should produce discharge jet type, while the nozzle has a small suction. If you do not have a steady jet and suction pressure, Desander cyclone is not working properly, it should be timely maintenance. Need to understand the maintenance desander common faults, their causes and solutions.
Fault 1: the discharge port bonding, liquid and solid phase bonding.
Reason: solid-phase overload.
Workaround: Reduce solid content: Increase the number of cyclone desander check whether vibrating sieve cloth is damaged, check the shaker bypass is closed, reducing ROP.
Failure 2: liquid loss is too great.
Reason:
A. for hydraulic head too low: an inlet portion of the plug; there is air in the pump for 2; 3 pump speed is too slow; 4 wheel size is too small; 5 pump discharge line throttling; 6 steering pump error; 7 in-line deposition of solids.
B. nozzle too.
C. inner tube or nozzle wear: 1. Long-term work under high pressure; two normal wear and tear; 3 inlet installation error.
Workaround:
A. increasing the supply of hydraulic head: a supply pump inlet filter installation; two adjustments to correct; 3 If diesel driven pump speed increase; increase the impeller size 4; 5 Check pipe; 6 Adjust the steering..... ; 7. clean lines, near the suction-side installation butterfly.
B. reduce the nozzle size.
C. Remedy: a reduced pump speed or reduce the size of the impeller; 2 Reinstall the nozzle; 3 reinstalled
Fault 3: Desander cyclone nozzle no solution possible is that the nozzle is clogged or inlet pressure is too high.
Cause: dirty mud, solids control equipment does not operate continuously; Desander cyclone within the mud dry; vibrating sieve shaker cloth rupture or bypass; pump speed too fast; impeller size is too large; throttle position error.
Solution: Turn off the device, and clear the nozzle blockage, disconnect the upper flange to remove the blockage. Check vibrating sieve cloth, transfer large nozzle boot device when the cycle. If the diesel engine driven, reducing the pump speed, reducing the impeller size, regulating valve opening degree.
