Best log splitter ever.
"The troy-bilt log splitter is the best. It is so much fun to run and easy to use that my wife does almost all the splitting and I don't use it that much. When I finally get to split some wood it is satisfying and fun to do. I have other Troy-bilt equipment and I am very pleased with the quality of the product line."
27 ton log splitter
"Totally satisfied with the splitter. Lighter weight makes it easy to push pull by hand. Compact enough to store in garage between 2 cars. Durable so far, after splitting 2 cords. One recommendation for Troybilt: automatic release of hydraulic oil pump once splitter has reached maximum down or up position rather than having to manually release the up/down lever."
I had this splitter for a few months and split about 10 cord. It would go through the tough stuff nicely until that tenth cord. I started to notice the wedge would stop penetrating and when the control valve was set to reverse, it wouldn't pop back to neutral upon full return of the wedge. Took it back for repairs and waited three and a half weeks to discover, the repair shop didn't do squat to my machine. Fortunately, I demanded a new one and was obliged! The new one has just helped me split two cord of the nastiest stringy elm with no problem other than a few drips of hydraulic fluid corrected with some tightening of the hose fitting. So, with the exception of that faulty control valve on the first unit, I have no problems with this brand. The "split second splitter" couldn't have gone through that nasty stringy elm so there really isn't a reasonable alternative to a powerful hydraulic splitter. Lowe's customer service is outstanding!"http://www.cnsuperpower.com/
